I think its a great start. You picked on a good notion that good practices are key to starting. Even in teaching this is left behind because its the journey that makes you learn so well. I’ve been down that and coming into a work environment where they are still making that journey has been very very hard on me as a developer.
I’ve been on the ground up side so much that seeing them make mistakes in part of html, css, javascript and php just urks me. So hopefully I can refer them to take some time to listen to you guys that way I am not always seen as wrongful when if they open their window just a little and see how php developers really do code (code ones), then its really not just me that they will fight with.
